September 18th, 2019, Workshop on “Ethics Required of a Community Interpreter: a bridging role in a multicultural coexistent society”. The specialist lecturer Minoru Naito, Tokyo University of Foreign Studies has been invited to conduct the workshop. Please visit the information site. Deadline September 15th.

August 20th – 22nd, 2019, Three-day Medical Interpreting Workshop on “Emergency Visits“, “Breast Surgery” and “Mental Health”. This workshop will take place between August 20th and 22nd, 2019. Specialist lecturer Julija Knezevic, a leading trainer of medical interpreters in Japan, has been invited to run it. Please visit the information site.

We invited Ms. Julija Knezevic, known as Julija Sensei from Osaka Medical Interpretation Academy to hold the “Interpreting for Cardiovascular Disease: Angina Pectoris and Myocardial Infarction as key topics” workshop on February 7th, 2019. Please refer to the workshop report page.

We invited a specialist lecturer Mr. Okamura from Nichibei Kaiwa Gakuin whose first seminar was highly appreciated, to hold the 2nd workshop on the basics of interpreting on January 30, 2019.
